Alegre Beach Resort, a world class triple A , five star resort, is located near the seaside town of Sogod, approximately 75 kilometers (a 90 minutes' drive)  from the Mactan International Airport. Set amidst 7 hectares of lush tropical gardens, the resort has 19 luxurious cabanas, each with two spacious rooms (60 sqm per room), a total of 38 rooms with elegant decor, over sized bathrooms and verandas, many of them overlooking the sea. The resort has its own white sand beach with three large private coves. Its facilities include a completely equipped  dive station with  PADI trainers, extensive water sports facilities with jet skis, wave runners, kayak and larger excursion boats for  island hopping and dive trips,  gym, the "Alegre Spa" with indoor and out door treatment rooms, a flood lit tennis court, 3 swimming pools two of which are for children, various other indoor and outdoor activities. Two golf courses are nearby and arrangements will be made by the hotel. Daily sunset cruises are organized by the resort- weather permitting - where often dolphins can be watched.

Food and Beverage facilities: The  Pavilion Restaurant and Bar with indoor and al fresco sitting, located on a cliff overlooking the sea, offering a wide selection of contemporary Filipino and international cuisine, both buffet and a la carte service. Extensive selection of drinks, cocktails and wines. Open daily from 7 AM until 11 PM. Live music on most evenings by our own band, special events like Barrio Fiestas, Fisherman's Fairs and similar are organized on regular basis. Room service is being offered  during same times. The Cliff Seafood BBQ and Bar a casual open air restaurant and bar located on Talisay Beach,offers a la carte service as well as special events and BBQs, specializing in fresh seafood items. Opening hours - weather permitting - 10 AM until 10 PM or later if needed.

Romantic Dinners: Various locations are available where romantic dinners for two can be served - a special menu prepared by the Chef for the occasion, served by a private butler, appropriate wine selection, with music by our own guitar trio.
