Golden Valley Hotel started as a tourist Inn, formerly known as Golden Valley Inn, on September 16, 1994. It started with thirty three (33) rooms catering to the local & foreign transients/visitors alike, and Shining Emerald café, a cafeteria catering to the In-house guests and University students. With the opportunity to expand our services came in the yaer 2003, Golden Valley Hotel (GVH) added 17 rooms and convert the cafeteria to a fine dining restaurant where guest can dine and relax at the same time. Now accredited as Economy Hotel by the Department of Tourism, GVH is committed to give our guest/s the room, where one can find the warmth and comfort of a home and the convenience of a luxury hotel combined.

LOCATIONS:

Conveniently located at the heart of downtown Cebu, and is close to offices, schools, hospitals, churches, banks, restaurant. Even the oldest & busiest street in Cebu, the Colon Street, where the bustling mall Metro Gaisano is just 2-3 minutes walk away from the hotel. This prime location is ideal for families going on vacation, business travelers, and groups coming for seminars and conferences. 

PRIMARY SERVICES

ROOMS:  We now have a total of 50 standard/superior/deluxe rooms, each fully air-conditioned and equipped with hot and cold shower, purified drinking water supply, latest fire alarm system, direct dial telephone, cable TV and minibar on Superior and Deluxe rooms. Because of our desire to meet needs of the guest, we have acquire the status of the art “Pull Out Trundle Bed” for the use of the groups coming for seminars or conferences.
( A general renovation on all rooms including the change of all furnitures n fixtures and appliances was the top Agenda for the year 2007 and was targeted to finish by the end of the second quarter.)

CONFERENCE ROOM:  At the time of our expansion in the year 2003, the rooftop was converted to a modern, comfort and self contained function rooms ready to host either business or social events that can accommodate 20 to 250 guests with latest audio and visual equipment Keeping im time with the demand, banquet at GHH is created by design. Our expert personnel takes care & makes sure that your event will be a worry-free and luxurious but very affordable.

BUSINESS CENTER:  We also make sure our clients/guests are not far from their business offices, so our Business Center is open 8am to 5pm from Monday to Saturday for their convenience, offering services such as fax, secretarial assistance, photocopy, airline reservation and sea travel bookings. And likewise, GVH has committed itself to equip all floors with as easy access to the internet.

SHINING EMERALD CAFÉ:  We do an extensive research for our culinary dishes. Not only we let our guest/s experience with fresh and cooked according to their taste, the new shining Emerald Café also offers gastronomic choices that promises a mouth watering experience to savor at every meal.
